Avatar Tech Epoch - Gunpowder

This is what happens when you play Civilization IV and Medieval II: Total War too much. XP

One thing that baffles me in Avatar despite that one of the nations have progressed into the Industrial Age nobody has ever bothered to invent gunpowder. They must've overlooked it since they have airships and steam engines... probably.

Anyway, war in the Avatarverse rages on, and thanks to the The Mechanist and Sokka, they successfully unlocked the secrets of gunpowder and immediately put it in good use by inventing muskets and cannons. Now the Earth Kingdom is on the same level as the Fire Nation. Eventually, these weapons will render bending obsolete.

Originally, I wanted to draw intricate designs on the cannons and the guns, like a dragon's mouth at the end of the barrel, but I just scrapped the idea after I got lazy with it and it's not practical in real life. Looks like Sokka and the rest of the Earth Kingdom army is adjusting fine to the muskets, but Haru is struggling with it. Almost nearly want him to say, "Screw this crap, I'm going Earthbending!"
