Ignore the intentional typo in the title because it reached the character limit. It's a reference to an old TV show called "Cheers" and it takes place in a... well, bar! This artwork is also a reference to the show, except the patrons are drinking root beer instead, and they're kids.
This image took me about three months, give or take, to complete it. THREE MONTHS MAN!! From concept to ideation to sketch to inking to color it. Procrastination and homework were the reason for the delay.
As you can obviously tell, it is a scene in a bar. The reference I used was the episode where that Root Beer Guy crashed into their bar and started to confiscate all their drinks. However, this is not a 100% replication of the bar in that episode, because if I tried to make it to look exactly the same, I WILL GO INSANE. Okay then, let's start from the bottom left:
Numbuh 78: She and her teammates have successfully completed a mission milestone, and it's time to celebrate!
"Here's to our 100th successful mission guys!"
Numbuh 60 and and 65.3: After a hard day's work at the Moonbase, they deserve a drink or two after work, sharing a joke or two.
"And then Numbuh 362 said, 'That's stoopid! The relationship between him and I are purely professional!' Yeah, right! Like I'm going to believe that garbage! *Laughs*"
That scientist kid: Root beer is bad for you! So he drinks diet soda.
"And then to my amazement, the frequency is fluctuating at random intervals and actually larger than I thought!"
Numbuh 10: The most popular and the prettiest KND operative is at the root beer bar, attracting the boys. She's also the poster girl for that root beer ad.
"Heh, Numbuh 44 of all people..."
Numbuh 3: Has no idea how to pacify the two fighting boys.
"Oh my, oh dear, oh gosh..."
Numbuh 4: Is angry, or has consumed copious amount of root beer, accusing The Kid of something.
"Bloody heck! Are you looking at her? ARE YOU LOOKING AT HER?!"
"What, man?! You don't even know what you're talking about!"
Numbuh 44: Obviously is lured by Numbuh 10, but stopped short by his brother, reminding him of something far more important.
"Dude, I think she's looking at me."
"What? Forget her man, we have to clear the Agata Forest level tonight! TONIGHT!"
Numbuh 86: Well, nobody outdrinks an Irish girl, I suppose, except for Numbuh 5... probably. Look at the fallen Numbuh 1-Love, 20000, and some random kid on the floor.
That Mechanic Girl: She deserves a break after fixing those ships in the Moonbase hangar. She invited a friend of her to join her at the bar.
Bartender: Enjoying the scene, proud of his little root beer bar.
"I wonder if I could expand some space to the left, and put a giant TV there?"
Numbuh 1, 2 and 5: After Lizzie left him, he got so upset that he trudged to the bar and drink lots and lots of root beer. Second officer and best friend came over to talk to him about it
"Isht... ovheer for me guysh... I'm a whreck without her..."
"Geez man, look at what you're doing to yourself! You look horrible!"
"C'mon Numbuh 1... Numbuh 5 thinks you've had enough of these stuff. Let's go back to the treehouse, all right?"
Those kids at the door: Ignore them. They're just lost KND operatives from Malaysia. They won't find any teh tarik [link] here.
